Kite surfing looks like a blast! To see a video. . . . www.dr-tourist.tv I believe some of the cabarete kite surfing sites have some clips as well.

Cabarete is the place to come to learn how to kitesurf! We have side on shore winds, and flat water inside the reef which provides an excelent training ground for students. You cannot just rent equipment before taking lessons. This sport is extreme and you must learn to control your kite and have basic skills to practice on your own and amongst others.
