Alright, I am a missionary and I live fairly close to Los Alcarrizos although I don't work there. In my opion, all advice on Los Alcarrizos has been on target. Unfortunately, I am unaware of any good places to stay on this end of the city. I think I have passed a new tiny hotel near the northwest corner of the Jardin Botanico on Avenida Republica de Colombia in Arroyo Hondo. I also have a missionary friend who lives near the horse venue, but they have never taken outside boarders. Frankly, I am not sure there is a good solution other than getting a hotel in the city. There are good ones about 30-45 minutes away.
