pleasepleaseplease help! My plane res. is hinging on this info.
I'm planning on heading down to the DR for Christmas and New Year's. I'm traveling on a budget (just a lowly elementary school teacher) and realize that most cheaper hotels (around USD20) don't take reservations this far in advance, if they take reservations at all. Do you think it will be a problem for me to just show up and find hotels as I go? I plan on spending a few days in Santo Domingo, then heading up to Samana and then from there I'm not sure.
