SD Apt/Hotel Needed for Sept!

I'm ISO a small apartment or hotel room in SD for the month of September; give or take a week or two. Any recommendations?

Look, I understand that this is a tired topic on this board for you ex-pats and others, but in looking back at the previous posts, I've yet to find a single apt rental source, or any hotel recommendations in SD other than La Grand Mansion, Mansion Gautreau, hotel Victor and the one above the whorehouse (Mona lisa, or whatever). Perhaps I didn't go back far enough?

While I'm new to this board, I'm not new to the DR. However, I've just never stayed in the capital before, so I'm need of some assistance. As I'll be staying for an extended period of time 4-5 weeks, I'd prefer to rent an apt rather than a room in a hotel, but I'm prepared to do either. Any gems out there?

Plaza Florida or Aparthotel Millenium. Don't have their numbers handy right now but I have posted them in the past.

Anyone ever stay at the Hotel Atalaya? I hear that one is pretty good. I'm staying there next week for about $40 per night.
