Getting ready to "hop over" to DR again, this time to Juan Dolio and La Romana. Would like to have information on apartments in both areas. I have searched DR1's files but was unsuccessful in finding what I need by following the leads I found there. Planning to stay for a week in each location. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Plaza Real in Jaun Dolio is a nice place and has weekly rental apartments. It is located on Calle Blvd. They have a website but it is in Italian. The webite is Punto Real. Don't pay much attention to the prices because they are not set in stone. There are a few other small places on Calle Blvd that you can rent also such as: Hotel Europa, Plaza Azul. A very small and cheap place I like is Sol y Mar in Guayacanes ( a small village next to Jaun Dolio). It is a short distance from town and is not an apartment but a room. It has a beautiful quiet beach and away from the tourists. Feel free to PM me with any questions of the area because I know it well from living there.
