Default Bying flights in Dominican Republic

Last minute help needed!

Flying to DR on Friday (19.09), 4˝weeks of holidays.
Have been thinking of flying to some other island(s) as well in the
carribiean but buying the flight from here (Scandinavia) seems quite expensive.

Got quoted the following prices:

Santo Domingo --->

Guadalupe or Dominica or Martinique 450-490 euros
500-550 usd

Trinidad & Tobago 515 euros
575 usd

Kingston, Jamaica 572 euros
640 usd

Could anyone say if the flight tickets could be bought more cheap in Dominican Republic. Or direct me to a travel agencie www page in Santo Domingo.

I also remeber somebody writing about that flights from Puerto Plata to Turks & Caicos were quite cheap. Couldnt find the thread anymore, but somebody quoted a price 275usd (think this was from Santo Domingo). Are these tickets easily obtainable in Puerto Plata?

Thanks in advance,

Jukka

Lightbulb Scandinavia?

Wow, you all became one country . I assume by your name you mean Finland. If you can do the US Visa Waiver or have a US Visa, you may want to try AA.com to see if you can connect via Miami and book online with them. These prices do seem quite expensive. You can book from there in advance and maybe save a few $.

Unfortunately there are not a lot of flights out of SDQ that go to these places vs. connecting in Panama or the US.

I think Air Jamaica connects via Port Au Prince Haiti to Kingston. Why you'd risk likfe and limb going to Kingston I don't know, maybe you might try Montego Bay.

Dont have a us visa, its not required for most europeans. Well anyway, Ill have a look at the aa pages and still have about
5˝ h time to decided wether or not Ill get the ticket from here.
