Hi All, I'm going to D.R in Nov...first time posting here and going there...

I'm traveling to D.R during the month of Nov and staying at the Coral marien by Hilton. After reading some of the post I'm feeling better about staying there and picking puerto plata instead of other places in D.R
I'm planning to surprise my girlfriend with a trip down there for her birthday. Is there a place i can buy flowers? I want to have them shipped to our room maybe when we are away on an excursions or in town.
I would like to do something special for her also...
is there a romantic spot in town/resturant. I would like to take her out to a "real" D.R resturant away from the resort. any help or suggestions from you would be appreicated.
