Question Playa Naco for kids?

I'm thinking about taking my kids (ages 3 & 5) to Playa Naco in Puerto Plata... Does anyone know what the kid's club is like there? Or have any other feedback on Playa Naco? Thanks!

Default Generally speaking

While we have never stayed there with our brood, we have stayed across the street which is owned by the same people...

The people that take care of the kids are wonderful. they have slides and other things like swings and climbing places.. the personnel love kids...and take good care of them.. I would not have a care if I were you. the beach is just a few hundred feet away.

I worked at Play Naco quite awhile back (guest services) and at that time they had a great kids club with many activities planned on a daily basis. They would take them on scavenger hunts, pool games, tennis games etc. I am not sure if it is still open but they used to have an arcade at the Playa Dorado complex as well.
The activities staff usually have fun activities going on at the beach for all ages and if you check with guest services they will have a list of daily activities each morning.
Generally speaking, most of the resorts cater to families and you should have no problems entertaining the children. If you want to go out and check out the nightlife, Playa Naco did have babysitting services available as well. This is usually someone they have on staff already so the babysitter would be reliable.
Enjoy your trip.
