Default suggestions for apartment DR 25-december/20 january??
Hello everyone,

Me and my boyfriend will be in the DR from about 25 dember till 20 january.

I'm looking for an apartment (20-30 USD per night):
- close to a nice long beach
- where it is quiet
- green area
- not (too) touristic!
- from where we can explore the island

I hope this place excists!

Do you have any suggestions? If so, please let me know!! Thank you!

Thumbs up apartment in Cabarete (hotel alegria)
I had a good experience at the Hotel Alegria in cabarete....owner operated (Jimmy)...nice people.

They also offer good rates, beginning at $20/day. This will probably be higher around christimas time, but it's worth a check. Here's their website - http://www.hispaniola.com/alegria
