Getting from airport to Sosua and Sosua to Rio San Juan

Can anyone tell me if we can just take a taxi from the airport to Sosua (some areas I've traveled to don't allow regular taxis at the airport). If so, what should I expect to pay?

Also, how much should a taxi be from Sosua to Rio San Juan?

Not sure about current taxi cost, but a taxi is how to get to Sosua from the airport. If you have luggage, it would be too far to walk to the highway for public transportation.

The alternative is to arrange for a driver to meet you at the airport and take you to Sosua. You could use the same person to take you to Rio San Juan. I can suggest an English-speaking driver, as can others.

Thanks Ken. I'd love it if you could email me or post here how I can pre-arrange a pick-up with a driver. I always use private pre-arranged transfers in Mexico for my clients, because it takes the stress out of arriving in unfamiliar territory.
