I'm wondering when one tourist is needing some help from Politur how do they understand each other ?

How many languages speak one Politur officer ?

I imagine that if it is something serious, he would call another officer who can speak the language at hand to come to the scene. This is how it is done in the United States.

Wink Tourist police is uneducated as well

I have never seen any member of the tourist police speaking any language other than Spanish. Why should this underpaid police
be more educated than the normal Dominican who generally is not able to speak any foreign language ?
