Are there any casinos close to Club Med? Would it be worthwhile to go to the casinos at night?

Greetings from Atlantic Canada.

Nothing against Club Med (although it isn't the most popular resort to North Americans, at least) but most of the people on this board who live in the DR are either in Santo Domingo, Santiago or on the North Coast. Not many places to actually live near Punta Cana (apologies to PJT et al where appropriate).
