Building work at the Flamenco, Playa Dorada

bbForbis posted a trip report on here about the Occidental Gran Flamenco in Playa Dorada for the week January 13th 2004 to the 20th.

Has anyone been since? A month has passed nearly and i wondered about how much has been done with regards to the building work that was being done. Anyone got any comments? We 'were' thinking of going there but i wanted to find out about the construction work.

That building on the beach won't be done for a looong time! Was there Jan. 22 to 29. Just read that guys review and guess the 6 of us were lucky. Do agree about the food though, with the exception of the pizza rest. upstairs it was pretty bland. Most annoying were the other tourists who "made reservations" on the pool chairs by leaving towels and magazine's beginning at 7 a.m. Had to "relocate" some of them more than once.

Is the building work being done at the Flamenco or the Ventana?
