Going to be staying at a resort in between Sosua and Cabarete.
Just learned I'm traveling alone until mid-week when my 20 something son is arriving. Suggestions for a lady traveling alone? Like to be outdoors no matter what, like the water but not scuba diving. Probably want to stay near the two towns. What would be fun - and safe?

Lots of people can suggest nice, safe places to go at night in Sosua and Cabarete. Use the search option on this site and you will find lots of information. If you aren't into scuba-diving, what about snorkelling? The sea at Sosua is gorgeous and perfect for swimming and snorkelling.
