Default Gay Friendly Hotel

We are looking for a gay-friendly hotel that is NOT all-inclusive in Puerto Plata, Cabarete, Sosua or the Samana Peninsula. We'd like something more than just bare bones -- nice size rooms with balconies/terraces, hot water, good beds, good breakfast, pool, walk to beach, walk to restaurants/bars, etc. Any suggestions?

You'd better buckle up your seat belt, Chester. You could be in for a bumpy ride.

I'm always amazed at the breadth of info available on google. For fun, I did a search for gay hotels+Dominican Republic and got a bunch of hits http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...public&spell=1

Checking one of them http://www.odyusa.com/html/countries/dominicanrep.html I learned that there are 2 hotels in Cabarete catering to gays.

For those of you that aren't on Kens "A" list, he is the wild man of Sosua. Wild Nakid parties every night of the week that start at 2am. You have to be on the "A" list to get invited but I can help you if you want in. I just never new he went over to the dark side.

Sorry Chester I haven't. I would have if I didn't have a girlfriend. Hey, you know if you turn the lights out is probably feels the same, no? Would you like the number so YOU can make a reservation? I can probably get it for you.
