Salsa stuff

Hi guys,

This is my first time at DR1, and i am hoping someone can help me out.

I am going to Santo Domingo on Wednesday and i want to get some dance stuff (BLOCH or Capezio dance sneakers, clothing etc.). Does anyone know of a place where i can purchase this stuff.

Also, any insight into the hot salsa spots in Santo Domingo, and the best nights to go there.

i am just reading your post right now.
Did you get any luck finding good salsa spots in Santo Domingo?
I am a salsa dancer myself and have been many times to the D.R.
I don't know the night scene in the capital very well though.
I am going back to Sto Domingo at the end of May so any good dancing reports would be welcome. Thanks

The only place I know of that plays mostly salsa is El Torre on san vincente de paul. I have never been there but any dominican that dances salsa usually goes there.
