Default How much time do YOU spend on DR-1 each day.

Gosh you all, I log on everyday to look at the new posts, and can't even begin to read them all. I think I spend a lot of time here sometimes, but a lot of you have got me beat, hands down.

So the question for all of you today is: How much time do you spend on the message boards of this great website each day?

Be honest!

I just joined not too long ago. But this forum is addictive when you are getting ready to re-visit the DR. I have logged on every day since I joined, too many times a day. But it provides a good read when you need a break.

Talking

More time than I care to admit. I check in every couple of hours to make sure no one in my forum is throwing sharp objects at each other and late at night I play games till I get so tired I actually want to go to sleep.

WAY TOO MUCH!!! I just started posting (I've been reading this forum for a long time) and now I'm hooked.

I check posts in the morning when I wake up (with my 1st cup of coffee)

After I get to work, I read through some more

When I get home; I read and check for responses

A couple of times in the evening

Before I go to bed

WAY TOO MUCH!!!

But I love it!!

I used to pop in here 3 or 4 times per day and pop into the chat room frequently. I used to try to follow every thread but now there is just too much activity and I choose the threads that interest me to follow. I, like many people, have used DR1 not only as a great tool to learn more about the Dominican Republic, but also as a way to feel closer to the country when I am so far awy from it. Now I find myself traveling there with more frequency and as a result, do not miss the country as much because of less of a lapse between trips. As a result, I am not as "addicted" to DR1 as I once was. However, I still log on at least once per day to see what the latest scoop is and follow the never ending "novela" that is DR1. This is a great message board. I was very lucky the day I discovered it.

1st thing in the morning with coffee, I check my email, plus new posts from Dr1.

At work i check DR1 every couple of hours and even respond to threads, even tho I know the company is tracking it.

1st thing after work, I check email again and for responses from DR1.

About an hour before going to bed, I'll re-read thru DR1.

First thing in the morning either at home or when I get to work. Again at lunch time. Again when I get home around 6pm. Then again later in the evening.

Like Larry I used to religiously follow every single thread, but now I just read the ones that interest me. That is easier to do now that you can hover over them and read the first few lines.

The arcade has become very addictive though. I have never been particularly interested in arcade games - not even when I was younger - but now, I can't seem to stop myself. It's bordering on obsession I fear.

I log in a couple of times most days, just to keep up with things in preparation for another extended vacation in Las Galeras. I bounce back & forth between 2 computers, one contains prorammes which can take forever to load so I check the boards on the other one ( & bill my time anyway) LOL. Stan.
