Default You could learn a lot if you used the SEARCH function

However, as a newbie here is one you can read: Transportation between SDQ and Sousa

Buses leave Sosúa every hour to Santo Domingo from early morning until late afternoon. KEN might want to confirm this.

A night in Sosúa, say, at Rocky's, might do you some good.

There are buses from Sosua to Santiago hourly from 5:15am to 6:20pm. Except for the first bus, they all leave at 20 past the hour. The trip takes about 4 to 4.5 hours and costs RD$200. It makes no difference which bus you take, since the bus starts in Sosua and there is always plenty of room. The first stop is Puerto Plata, and the bus departs there on the hour.

Like Hillbilly, I would think you'd like to spend the night in Sosua and start fresh in the morning. It is a long ride and it will be after dark when you get to SD if you leave the same day you arrive.
