Help! Withdraw Money in DR
I want to withdraw money from my bank here in Holland while in the D.R. the limit my bank has is 750 euros a day. will it be possible for me to go inside the branch and withdraw 30,000 pesos?

Ok, but it is not an CreditCard it is a DebitCard, i have heard from some people they only accept creditcards inside, and for debit cards they sent you to the el CAJERO

Doesnt matter at all, my problem is CAN I GET MONEY INSIDE THE OFFICE INSTEAD WITHDRAW FROM THE MONEY VENDING MACHINE!
I need to get around 30 mil pesos, an banking machine have a maximun of RD$ 5000
or can i get RD$ 30000 in one time from the banking machines?

there is a daily limit of about 5k pesos but just bring down some money when you first arrive to get the lump and then do the ATM.
I don't know if they will or will not do the debit card in the bank, I never tried.

I sounds stupid, why i want get money from the ATM's if you can bring the money and change it to Pesos.
My Bank doesnt charge worldwide transactions (normal € 1,57 per transaction, but i have a new package what include WW free transactions)
In the DR the Banks or Money Change stores etc. will give you 50 Pesos* for 1 Euro, but the official exchange is now 59* pesos for 1 Euro. My bank will withdraw the amount with an exchange around 56/59* so i win around 6 pesos.
I have tryed last year much times and it was succesfull, but i never had withdrawed a Big amount, so i need a big amount.

Limit at MOST ATM's is now RD $8,000 per transaction (not necessarily per DAY) & in Playa Dorada I believe it is now RD $12K - RD $15K!!! So, Samana1, two or three uses of an ATM (possibly in the same day) should get over your "Problem"!! - Grahame.

Thanks everybody for your response, i think Republic Bank (Banco Mercantil) have a limit of RD$ 25.000 a day so i need to get their.
