and it seems like a 4 hour drive each way
to the capital santo domingo
Can we fly from punta cana too santo
domingo ????????????
is there any info some where
how much etc
seems the best way to go

Here you go! They don't show National flights on the web site but they do have them! Punta Cana to Santo Domingo!

Check AA and then point out the flight #'s between 2 Dominican cities - you will find none. They fly from / to PUJ to Puerto Rico, Florida, and NY.
