Slow boat to POP from Florida? (August)
Hi there, does anybody know a friendly captain who'd be willing to transport at least 2 (possibly 6 or more) friendly travellers from - anyplace in Florida to Puerto Plata, DR in early AUGUST? My mom's 60th birthday is Aug 5 so we'd like to travel around Aug 1 - stay in POP for a week or two, maybe visit some other islands w/ mom if time permits, and then return back to FL. Looking for a reasonable weekly rate, trying to convince the rest of the family to come along - we all miss her!! PS. if you have been to Sam's Bar then you know my mom - hope you can help us make her birthday a special one!
