Jeep Wrangler Soft Top
Would anyone here know where I can buy a used convertible top for a 90's model jeep wrangler?
Thanks,

I found this site on here. The prices on here seem a little high to me. I have seen a couple threads on prices of cars and seen they said the are higher here in the DR.

If it is just the "soft top" enquire about having one made. If you are on N.Coast there is a place opposite Marapica Hotel which does this, Puerto Plata. They made a soft top for a Suzuki I had a while back - advantage is you can choose an unusual colour, so your top won't get "borrowed"!!

I thought I knew Puerto Plata pretty well.....
But I don't know where the Marapica hotel is located.
Can you narrow it down for me a bit? If they can make tops, they could certainly repair mine. It only has a few small tears in parts that could easily be replaced.
I know that beggars can't be chosers, but I would like to find a place like that in Santo Domingo.
Thanks a lot for the info. I really appreciate it.

Taking the main road out of Puerto Plata towards Playa Dorada, past Dinorah's liquidacion shop on right, signs for Rancho Steakhouse, Marapica is just past there on right. The soft top makers is a little further along on opposite side of road. There MUST be places that do this in Santo Domingo. Look up tapiceria in yellow pages, then ask them for the ones doing car upholstery. Or ask around for car seat repairers - often these will do tops as well.

Well, finallly took the plunge and ordered a new one from the states. The quality of the work I was finding here was just not that impressive.
Thanks again to all of you for your help.

AHHHHHHHH BUMMER....I have a like new one (seriously like new) It was only used for one season. The jeep got totalled in a snow storm. And I have been trying to sell it for a couple of years. Well.....barely trying.
Can I ask how much you paid for your new one?

I found one on EBAY for 205 dollars, new. I am waiting for the auction to end, so you still have a chance!
The top I want to buy should be grey, and have the 1/2 door skins. If you jeep had a hard top, your top would not fit mine, since I have the factory soft top.
Does yours fit the bill? And what would you want for it? If it's not what I am looking for, stick it on EBAY. They sell fast and furious there
Warmest regards,
JD

Mine isn't for you then. Plus i was hoping to get more money. Mine is from a 2000 Jeep.
I also tried to put it on Ebay last night and got frustrated and gave up.
