Default Blackouts

Does anyone know if the electricity blackouts are affecting the east coast (Punta Cana)? Are the AI's impacted by this at all? I assume they have backup generators.

Three leading tourist zones --Punta Cana-Bavaro, La Romana (Casa de Campo and Bayahibe), and Samana (Las Terrenas) -- are not affected by the blackouts as they operate on privatized power circuits. Blackouts of any duration in those areas are very rare.
