Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus (Open-Closed????)

We are supposed to be coming over to stay at the above hotel on 6th Oct, but have heard so many conflicting stories about what has been affected by the recent storms. Can anyone tell me what the state of the hotel is and if it is operating as normal.
There are nine of us coming and we have saved for a long time for this, and I am just recovering since a major OP and really need this holiday.
Any help would be appreciated.

from all the information I have read the IHD is open, but there is no access presently from La Romana International airport due to the bridge being out, it may be fixed by you travel date ??
