Need info. Fone # for Reputable charities and other ???'s

I am leaving in the morn, I am taking a duffle with childrens shoes, childrens back packs and some of my little sisters school uniforms from last year. Plus I have a couple a hundred bucks for the kids.

Can someone give me a phone number to the best/reputable agency for this.

Plus should I just go hand out the money to mothers of the kids and kids or give it to the charaties or go to the store a get them groceries or what. Please give me some info because I am scrambling to get everything ready for an early, 6 am flight, plus its my birthday so I will be out with family for the rest of the day and it will be hard to get to the comp often.
