Default Riviera Del Caribe/Puerta Del Sol

Greetings:

My father is giving me some property(land) that he bought many years ago in an area along the Autopista Las Americas that was then known as Riviera Del Caribe. He tells me that it is now called Puerta Del Sol. I would appreciate any current information anyone can share about this particular area. I live in the US and will be visiting the DR again in July/August of 2005 to transfer ownership.
Thank you in avance for your help. Carlos A.

Default wonder what the value is now?

Riviera del Caribe has been a development that never panned out and it's mostly empty lots and last time I looked I think I saw a few isolated houses and don't even remember if the 'streets' are asphalted or are still just dirt.

I don't know what the value is now of this land but it has been there for decades and kind of spinning its wheels. If you would consider having a residence here the place may be lonely and if you would like to sell it may
not be worth that much but, if you got it free, what the heck!

Thanks Spirit7

I'll try to contact a Real Estate office in Santo Domingo. Hopefully they can tell me what the current value of property there, is.
