i'm planning a trip to DR in July and will travel by myself.., but i will have someone meet me at the resort, to stay with me during my stay there how will we go about paying this, i will buy a package with flight and hotel together and how will the other person pay just for resort stay? would i have to make to different reservations,

1- purchase my package

2 and then call the resort and make reservation for them
but all we need is one room?

how will the resort go about this?
or should i buy the ticket seperate and then go to the resort and do everying related to the stay there?

Once you decide which resort you will be going to I'd email or call them and ask how much they will charge for another person to stay with you. Every hotel is dfferent so ask. Specify that they will stay the whole week or whatever.

Why one way? Are you planning to stay for a while?

Absolutely, since they all have different prices and rules.

I would personally book the airline and hotel seperate. I have done thisfor my past three trips that way you and your guest can pay seperate. I have a map of the DR with a huge lists of hotels and resorts with there phone#s on it. I pick my destination area, and then call every hotel directly and see what the best price is. if you want I could fax you a copy of it.

If the person you are meeting is in the DR and has a cedular have them make the resort reservations for you and him/her because dominicans get a very big discount booking from DR using their cedulars. Book your flight separately. PM me with the resort info I may be able to get you a good price.

yeah the person i'm planning on hanging out at the resort with has a Cedula, so you think i can have them do the reservations instead, if it's cheaper i'll definitly have them do it, i 'll either be in Juan Dolio or Boca chica Hamaca i havent decided yet, since it's close to SD and then we have to rush to Neyba Wednesday so we'll go in Monday and leave Tuesday.....

yeah my flight is seperate cause i'll be going home first in SD and then go to the resort for one night, about how much can i expect to pay for 3/21 to 3/22 for 2 people one room 2 beds for example...should i payin pesos or USD..?

any reccomendations? i've only been to the Coral Costa Caribe but as a day pass, and to Don Juan for the weekend

so, with the reservation is there a deposit needed, or can i just pay everything at the check in?
