Share a taxi? Santiago->samana on 03/04 in the AM?

Hello all.

I took advantage of those cheep tickets to DR via jet blue. Now my friend and I are arriving in Santiago airport early in the morning (1:40 am!)

I am trying to arrange a taxi to take my friend and i down to samana.

we want to leave early in the morning- around 6:30 or 7:00 am. Does anyone want to share a taxi?

Prices for two people are expensive - but if we split it between a few ppl ie 4 -8 it will become very inexpensive.

I plan on using a reputable taxi service with which I can arrange pick up times before hand so that it will be organized and reliable.

Costs should be: assuming 6 people around 28 -29USD per person. Anyone game?

If you are going to get some sleep anyway, why not take the 8, 9 or 10 o'clock bus to Samana.? It goes Santiago-Samana...

A couple of my friends did that last week with their two children. a piece of cake.
