Default Hold'em Poker at Playa Dorada

I visited two times Tropical Casino at Paradise Hotel Playa Dorada.
Both times there were same guys at the poker table, old man with cap and small old man with cigar.
I played about 80 hands and there were amazing amount pocket pairs, trips,
four of a kinds, etc.
Bad beat was almost predictable and still I lost all.
According my other poker games, its impossible have those great hands
so often.

Does anybody else have same experiences ?

Default Hold-em.....Anywhere else

Never played at Playa Dorado, is it only one table? Where exactly? What are the Blinds? Limit or No limit?

Is anyone playing in Santo Domingo or the south?

Thanks,

Rich

Default Poker

There was only one table with 1/2$ blinds, no limit, but I cant recommend,
it feels so cheat

In Sosua I have played at Playa Chiquita Casino, 100/200 peso blinds fixed
limit, it feels fair but usually not many players. There are also couple regular
players who try to win drunken tourists money.

5 kilometers from Sosua to Cabarete is Hotel Breezes Casino, I visited once
but didnt play. There seems to be one spread limit table with 2/4$ blinds and
1$ ante, max raise 5$ and after turn or river 10$.

Default How about games Santo Domingo?

Thanks for the info...I don't get up north too much.

Does anyone know if any casino in Sto.Dgo. has any Hold-em? How about a club? In back of a Colmado? Someones basement? I really need to expand the scope of my nocturnal activities.

Yeah they are cheats. I stayed once in Jack Tar and became friends with some of the dealers. They had a slot tourney and one of the guys asked me if I wanted to be the winner and split the proceeds. I declined!
