Default What to expect

What should I expect for the months of May/June in the DR. Is the tourist traffic a lot slower, or things less expensive because of that?
And is it much warmer than in Dec/Jan? Or many mosquitos?

High season is from Christmas to Easter, so there will be fewer tourists in May & June.
It's is not that much warmer in the daytime, but it does not cool off as much at night as in the winter.
Mosquitos depend on rain and low lying areas, more than the time of year.
Some hotels will have lower prices in low season.
Most other things remain priced the same.
