If it is one the one in Punta Cana. The rooms were wet with condensation unless you had the air on FULL. Otherwise a normal hotel room with nothing special. Shower design also leaked water on the floor, adding to the already damp situation.

In the evenings, they have entertianment for about an hour after dinner. They do the best they can with what they have. My wife and stepdaughter enjoyed it, but they haven't been to something like a Broadway show to compare.

It is tough to get a chair by the pool. The drinks were watered down. The food was OK, some nights even a little better than OK. The beach was OK. Book catamarans early if you want to sail one. Ancient windsurf gear. Sea Kayaking was OK.

When you are there, you are there, the typical AI experience with no town to visit. We found that we never again want an AI. We left after 4 days of a 7 day stay and went back to the North Coast where we live. We have seen the East and no need to go back soon. If you are coming from a cold place not near the water, you will probably overlook many of the things I mentioned above. At least I hope you can.
