My dragon boat team is being featured on the Naomi Judd Show 11 a.m. on New Year's Day on the Hallmark Channel.

We video taped the show. It wasn't on at 11 it was actually on at 10 a.m. good thing we got there with enough time to look into a tv listing. The first 1/2 hour of the show was dedicated to our dragon boat team as a support group. The producer did an amazing job.

So many times you read things in the Sankie forums, and in the Men are from Mars, Women from Venus. And not all stories are like that. And it's always nice to hear happy endings. Thank you for sharing that with myself, and I don't know how many others. But thank you so very much. It makes me even more excited for my wedding. I think I have everything under control....atleast as much as you can when it comes to a Dominican wedding. But I will not be fazed in the least when the plan gets a mind of it's own, and does what it wants. We are in the Dominican Republic after all....LOL

Yesterday I booked my flight with Air Canada for a 6 week stay in Puerto Plata - arriving April 22nd - staying until June 3rd.
It seems like a long way off but at least I know that there will be a palm tree in my future.

Life has its ups and downs, but put on your skiis and take the chair lift to the top, ski as fast as you can through the valleys back to that chair lift or gondola that takes you to the top again
