Default Signature/ Skyservice

I am going to the Gran Ventana with Signature. Does anybody have any experiences they want to share with me about Signature? How's the flight? It looks cramped. Airbus A-320 is supposed to have 150 seating capacity, but it looks like they crammed their 320's to 180 seats. Oh well...what can I expect?
Thanks....La Pirata

The flights are fairly cramped but, if you're flying from Toronto, it's not so bad as it's only a few hours. The longer flights from Western Canada (around 8 hrs+/-) are brutal. It's all worth it though as you'll have a great trip and Signature is great for transfers and information at the hotel. You should have no problems with them.

Default Skyservice / Signature

I have done the Skyservice thru Signature flight from Calgary to POP in the past. I found it okay and no more crowded than the usual for nowadays. I am on Air Transat tomorrow morning to POP so will have something to compare it to after then. The Great attraction of course is that they are both non-stop flights. Ten minutes and a $15 taxi fare from my home to the Calgary airport. Twenty minutes and a $20 taxi to Sosua. Thats convenience and easy travelling. Trying to fly non charter is a pain as it requires a night stop over at least on the return trip if not both ways, from Calgary that is.

The charters are not discounting there flights the last few days this year like they have in the past. They even refused me a deviation to a three week stay because I was travelling alone. That was even with me being willing to pay there jacked up price of $1450 for an extra week. My ticket this year is $200 more expensive than last year at the same time of year. I paid $975 which included the taxes.

So much for some of the other posts in regard to 'cheap' travellers. I have budgeted a total of $5000 for my two weeks. Whats cheap about that for one person.
