It is the week that includes Good Friday and ends with Easter Sunday. You should have access to a calendar that tells you when that is.

PS: It is Semana Santa, meaning holy week.

As a "movable feast" Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring equinox.

Compared with Semana Santa, yes. Semana Santa, especially the last 3 days, is when the beaches in the DR are the most crowded.

When have Americans and Canedians their Easter break.
We have before 2weeks before Easter.
Are AI hotels doing something special with Easter or not?
Guess everything will be back normal on Monday as locals have back to home and their job.

As a Hotel manager, I can affirm that most hotels are having a special program for Semana Santa. In most cases you can obtain a copy of the program that should already be ready in most of them sending an email to the DOSM of each property.
