Default American Travelling with a Birth Certificate
There is a rumor going around DR, that says, that after the 05 of December of 2005 no one (foreigners) will be able to leave the DR with a birth certificate. I travelled with my infant son with a birth certificate to the DR. I had no problem coming in, but I keep hearing this nasty rumor. Please tell me it is not true, and if it is what are my choices (please exclude leaving before the 5th or leaving my son here).

They extend the period till 2008 as they did with mexico, but I sugest you to get you babe passport asap
