3/4 oz Malibu rum
3/4 oz Dark rum
Fill 50/50 Cranberry and Pineapple

Shake (Or Hold and Shiver)

Skip the ice if you are THAT Cold !
Maybe a Bahama Hot Chocolate would be more appropriate?

Default No Milk??

Hey JoJo, thanks a lot. Is the Malibu rum creamy. I could have sworn at Windsurf Banana Bar they put milk in the Bahama Mamma's??? (but then again, maybe I had too many??!!@#$%)

About the Hot Chocolate, I'm off the hook, today it is + 5 c. Really balmy!!!! NOT!!
Can hardly wait to try my own Bahama Mamma

The reason you are having a hard time finding it online is because it's called
banana mama

http://www.drinknation.com/drinks.ph...d=647&barbook=

The recipes I found online call for banana liqueur but I've been told they use real banana's in the DR or least the ones I've had.

Some of them are Banana Mamas, some of them are Bahama Mamas - they are both equally lethal if they're made by skillful hands...

I think the recipe here from jojo2130 is for a Bahama Mama?

Your forgot the shot of 151 - which is always thrown into the ones in the DR.

And for the most part - bananas are used.

At my old bar the bartenders also put coconut milk in the mix

Yep, Its Bahama Mama

Well there is Coconut Milk OR Coconut cream. but I dont think there is eitehr in this recipe. Use a bit of that 151 and you will not notice the difference anyway !

But Malibu is Coconut Rum
Looks like rum .Tastes like Coconut in Rum ! LOL

Here the Banana Mama is the Big Drink everywhere.....!

Stay warm

Default Ah yes,,,,the fog is lifting.....

You are all absolutely right. I was thinking about the Banana Mamma's not Bahama Mamma's.
Thank you all for clearing that up. I guess is does take a while to cleanse all the alcohol out of my system afterall. The bunch of us that travelled together to Cabarete are having a get together soon to view the videos and drink
"Banana Mamma's"

We will be thinking of you all. Maybe I should rent a few Sunlamps - eh???

Cheers
