Breezes POP
Stayed there in April/May 2005 and had a blast! Loved it...would return in a heartbeat...though this time we're trying the Coral Marien for a friends wedding! Yes, there are a lot of mixed reviews...but I swear some of these people must be born complainers! We were in building 11 (room 11113) and it was great - well stocked, very clean, no musty smell or mold as some have said, AC worked very well (maybe too well...it was cold!), always hot water, fridge was well stocked with pop and water, lots of towels, fresh linens, no bugs (except a few tiny ants on the patio)...all in all, it was well worth the money!!! The food was great - lots to chose from. Resort was clean and well laid out. Great staff - great drinks - amazing pool! A little out of the way in regard to closeness to towns (like Sosua, Cabarete and Puerto Plata), but close enough for the free shuttle into those towns for shopping, etc. Loved it! We requested 2 rooms together - not a problem. I can't find their e-mail address anymore, but someone on this forum should have it - Fatima is the ladies name who's incharge of guest services/rooms. Go...enjoy it!
