Default calling cards

I'm calling DR pretty much on a daily basis and am wondering if anyone knows which calling card(s)work the best. I've tried Caribbean Queen, Ci Ci and Maximum Caribbean. Any suggestions?

I was calling the DR every day as well. i was using the calling cards most poular around the tri state area of NY . CRAZY CRAZY was a good one, but i got a bunch of dropped calsl...I used RED for a few times. I always hated when they said "you have one hour" even after i connected to my destination...but sure enough 45 minutes later the card would expire....something about taxes of .60 on a $5 card......anyway

I ended up using a card called EXTREME...that gave me the most minutes for my $5 and i got fewer dropped calls

now i have a phone line that goes through my computer... and pay .15 a minute....a little more money...BUT No dropped calls, I only dial one number not three... and i dont have to go buy anything, or scratch off any cards...nor do i run out of time and have to go use another card

good luck...bob

If you are calling a DR cell phone, try STI, you'll get 22min for $2, that works out to be less than $0.10 a min, of course calling a land line will give you a lot more.

I have used the STI cards a lot as well....I always bought the $5 cards.. and i got maybe 36 minutes tops calling a DR cell phone....if i called a land line there. I got 3 hours or more!!!!!!!!!

buy at least one EXTREME and try it....it seemed all the others would be similar , around 28-36 minutes for a $5 card....but extreme gives 45 minutes...even though they say you have one hour...you never get what they say at the beginning of the call for actual air time( that goes for all cards)

good luck

bob

Lately I've been using the 809 card and I've had pretty good service with it. Another that works well for me is NY Exclusive.

Try "fabuloso", 2$ card gives more than an hour to a landline.

Why not use KissLD? It's .129 a minute and it doesn't need to go through your computer.

Which card is best depends on a few things:
  • Are you calling from the US or Canada?
  • Do you call a land line or a cell phone? (Some cards have higher rates for cell phones).
  • Is there person always there when you call? (Some cards have connection charges, but have a less expensive per minute charge).
  • What's the average time of your call?

www.uniontelecard.com

if your calling everday the one with no connection and no service fee is Boss right now. they change rates all the time. rates are like 5 cents a minuite calling to land phone in DR cell is more expensive
