boat rental/fishing

Evening all,

I have been reading the forum for a couple nights now and figured I would post now that I have gone through the archives. Sounds like I need a boat to do some inshore fishing. Where would be my best bet to find one? Would I go to a marina or to a local village and ask someone if I could use there boat for a fee? It looks like there is a pretty big river going into the puerto plata area that may be worth checking out ,along with near the fort where the currents I would guess get pretty strong and the water a little deeper. We are staying in the pop area the week of Feb. 16 till the 23.
