I have been to Whale Samana and emailed them with no reply. Does anyone know what the price of the trip is and how to arrange transportation from Punta Cana? We will be down for a week and really want to see the whales.

2 years ago, it was $100.00 US per person, from Sosua. Little did we know, it was half price at Mel's tour. If you are planning to go, do not get it from the Tour rep. Use a local tour operator.

thanks everyone for the help. I called Richard and he was very kind. Answered all of my questions and could not have been more helpful. I feel a lot better that we are going to get to see the whales on our trip. See you in about three weeks.
