Spring Holiday in DR

We are planning way ahead here and are looking for about 20 people to go down to the DR next year in March or April.

I remember in the past reading on these forums that DR has a big holiday sometime in the spring and it wasn't recommended to travel during that time as service may not be as high during this holiday.

Could someone help me out with the name of this holiday and if possible what dates it falls on in 2007?

Easter Week is the mad house week here. I don't have a liturgical calendar here but it is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring equinox. You can look it up.

It isn't that service is poor, it is just the fact that all the hotels are chock full and things take more time.

That helps a lot. I thought it was a special DR holiday, just must have been referred to in the Spanish name the last I read about it so I thought it was something different.
