darwenlass - its 10:55am here.

marliejaneca - thanks for your vote...but I'm still out till someone else comes to back me up - no need to be hit over the head with the stop hockey talk comments.

As for the good tips here etc - I agree - I have a pad of paper that I add to my list each and everyday that I read this. Even started a bag with some of the stuff so I don't forget it.

Not till March 20th - but I am one of those people second guessing my decision to book there.

Not sure I could stand the stress created if something was to go horribly wrong with the plumbing etc. Too much $$ having to be saved to be spent on a trip from hell.

I'm waiting to hear from Ron and Dahabs as to their opinions also. I think they will be very upfront and verbal about the good and bad....call me crazy but I get that impression of them

I am happy to see better reviews coming in but I also want to have a backup plan "just in case".

Just checked out Ocean Worlds website - under the FAQ section it states that you should bring a towel, sunscreen and a change of clothes for the boat ride. They have change rooms and lockers there as well.

Here is the link:

Hey Everyone,

Just arrived moments ago. Driving to Toronto, our car broke down , but im on vacation, so I took my father-in-laws car.

So far from the first 10 mintues ----- Incredible.

Got to the check-in desk, and since we are in the royal suites, they took us aside.

They put us on a golf cart and brought us to another check in. Got to sit down and talk to the guy at the desk (nice guy). Internet is free, thus i am on as my wife is changing.

Weather is HOT right now.

Room will be ready @ 2pm, which is more then fair as the other people are just checking out.

Looks great, but I have to change. I will continue to report.

Ottawa Senators. aka Ron.

WOO HOO!!!! You are there!!!

Sorry to hear about your car.....but you are right - you are on vacation now and miles away from home with sun and sand!

Have a great time!

Please keep us updated as you can - and send any travel tips you come up with (besides the fact that they need to show NHL on the big screen there!)

ENJOY!

i know what you mean i was thinking of changing as the hubby hates flying, and if i get him there and it is a sh**hole he wont be happy.

having said that the good reviews are coming, i know where you are coming from with ron, he tells it how it is no glossing over it which is what we want.

i knew we would not be able to keep him away.
