LoL,
I am starting to get a little dissapointed in people ( just kidding ) There have been numerous people that have posted that.
BUT .... On the left hand side of the brochure it states:
Quote:

Available exclusively in Canada with Signature Vacations – the 4 star Holiday Village Resort in Puerto Plata is our newest gem in the Caribbean. With 290 rooms, this resort provides an intimate environment with all of the facilities and services of a mega resort. The Holiday Village resort is a one of a kind all-inclusive resort that caters to couples, singles and families alike. Holiday Village offers all the amenities and on-site facilities that Canadians have come to expert from a top quality resort, with a European influence. With 4 a la carte restaurants to choose from, an adults only restaurant and pool area, and an extensive array of activities throughout the day and evening entertainment, this resort promises to be a huge hit the coming winter.

Please, where in this paragraph and points does it have an (*) to show that the adult restaurant and pool area are not part of the "All Inclusive".
Under Dining - It even shows 4 à la carte restaurants (International, Italian, Mexican, Caribbean, Oriental)**
7 bars including Beach bar, Pool bar
Notice how there is -2- **. If you look at the bottom it states:
*Charges apply. **Some restaurants open for certain meals only.
So again if the adult restaurant and pool area is for the VIP people then there should be an (*) stating so, and there isn't.
CASED CLOSED.

The Signature web site lists under United States all the reps here in the states according to states. I'm still waiting to hear from the rep in NJ.

I see your point, but while reading the whole brochure as i have listed above it says Upgrade Your Package! so that tells me that i have to pay extra to stay in the adult section of the hotel..Even though it wasn't stated on the left side it was stated on the right..Not that it matters to me bringing 2 kids with me.
Jan 11 can't come fast enough!!!anyways just me 2 cents worth

You can not book land only. Signature of Canada will only book it with air out of Canada. Needless to say, we're really disappointed. On to more research for different locals. Any one know anything about Sun Village? Would really appreciate any info.

Just finished speaking with a US friend who says their friends from Michigan have booked land only through Signature - Toronto, I think. So, who really knows!?

To everyone going before we do (mar) enjoy to the fullest.I'm a hippy from way back, so peace everyone. An answer to previous thread about things to do: The marine show (swimming with sharks etc. sounds great) going to that one. Have been on outback tours and they are highly recommended. The paradise island tour sucked big time. Over 6 hours on bus in total there and back, bad food, etc. Do not believe the operators when they say only 2 hours to get there. Ask alot of opinions before going. Also have question, are there free shuttle buses to Sosua and Cabarette? And Planner, want to bring you a gift for all your help but little hints would be great. Don't be shy just ask. There is probably something you want that is unavailable in D.R. Have a fantastic day on di island.

Excellent pictures! Boy does Holiday Village look ever so different from the former Jack Tar resort (which I saw way, way back when in the nearby Dorado Naco resort in the winter of 1987). Can't wait to get down later this month! Latest long range weather forecast charts for the New Year's week are looking great!
