For clarity I never once sneaked onto the property or pretended to be anyone other then who I am. I understand security and the need for it. I arrive in my vehicle, am let in by security who all knowme and I was in reception for goodness sake!!!!
For those who have been assisted by the information I provided - I am really glad. My aim is to share my love of this country with anyone interested.
It is quite common for travellers to get the "trots" or a queasy stomach here. It happens in almost every hotel! That is far far different from food poisoning or an epidemic. That is my only point and I am done debating it.
kz650b2 - glad your family enloyed the resort! Sorry the weather was not better. We just had 4 nice days but today the rains returned. Let's hope they leave again.
Bodders - see you Wednesday! Glad you are having fun.

Who are you and what is your problem??? You are still insinuating that anyone who became ill was due to their not being careful.??? Give it up. You made yourself look very stupid in your previous posts and now you have just confirmed it. And yes, now it is personal.
PS. Thank you Blair for your concern. It was very nice meeting you, you certainly do your Newfoundland heritage proud!!

I am still concerned! As I have been lucky enough not to have got really ill on different holidays, yes I have had a slight upset stomach and once I was wearing a big sweat shirt when it was about 38 degrees because I was freezing, what with being ill. I didnt let it ruin my holiday and I still had a brilliant time, however by the sounds of what people are saying I am growning more and more concerned that it may not be a bit of deli belly but something worse. It is me, my brother and my boyfriend in a standard room and the last thing I want is all of us running for the toilet every 5 minutes!

COO - you are right! For anyone to insinuate or state that it is your own fault is downright ridiculous.
Everyone take normal precautions. Don't overdo it. Wash your hands. Etc etc....... Bring some immodium and pepto with you in case you get a touch of something. IF it is more serious find your holiday rep and get some medical health.
Little - it may happen - it may not. It won't ruin your holiday. Stop obsessing.

I know, my mum has told me the same thing! You would think it was my wedding everyone was gonig to not my cousins!! Lol, I just want everyone to have a good time thats all, I didnt feel too bad about it all until these recent posts turned up and the watchdog show!
Im sure a holiday is what you make it and if I do get a bit of a funny tummy, and its nothing too serious then I will pretty much grin and bear it! I will also take some of the advice I have seen on this thread!

Also, as it is 3 of us in a standard room, what are the sleeping arrangements like? For example is it one double bed and 1 single?

Yes, we got good tans....We were there for 7 days. Some days, the rain only started in late afternoon and lasted all night. Other days it was raining when we woke and lasted until late afternoon, then the sun would shine....I have pictures of the resort, I will post them on a website and then give you the address if you wish - Having trouble uploading them here for some reason.

It rained every day for 2 weeks, sometimes flooding the outside areas to a depth of 4 inches. Very disappointing.

I second that.....I asked EVERYONE there, Many staff, Front desk receptionists, and NOBODY knew who in the world I was talking about....It was a bit dissapointing to us also .

Planner is a wonderful person she does not get paid to do this but she does it to help everyone and to ensure everyone has an enjoyable holiday. Maybe if you had have asked a few more questions then you would have known a little more about planner and how can you expect everyone in the resort to know her. Show planner more respect we would all be lost without her.
