Default Opening of Holiday Village Golden Beach

Hi Planner,

Today is the opening of Holiday Village Golden Beach, can you get some photos of inside the resort? I think many peoples want to get to know the finish look of the resort, like the lobby, reception, buffet resturant and rooms. I checked your photos of the pool, it was great, but I have no idea what it looks like inside the resort. Thank you

I must say the holiday village golden beach looks fantastic based on the brochures and some of the photos of the redevelopment. 1 month to go cant wait! Hi Planner what are the best trips to go on. I was thinking of going to Santo Domingo on a day trip - is it a long journey? what do you recommend

HI everyone. I will try to get some more photos for you of the interior. Let's see what I can come up with today.

Trips: depends what you like, who you are travelling with and how long you are here.

Santo Domingo is a 4 hour drive from the north coast. If you are here for 2weeks then this might be worth it for you. If one week, I wouldn't recommend it. Get out and see the north coast first. It is stunning - there is lots to see from Playa Grande on the east to Luperon on the west. (2 hours east and 1 hour west - more or less)

We have safari type tours, catamaran tours, Ocean World, hiking, biking, city tours, etc etc. Do some searches of the web and take a look at what is available.

Everyone remember to bring down some school supplies for the kids. This is my new personal mantra.....LOL This is an easy way for you to give back to the community. No room in your suitcase - we can spend your cash here too... don't bring paper - too heavy. Bring pencils, pens, erasers, coloured pencils, stencils, stickers and anything else you can think of!

Default family room

was just wondering if anyone can describe the family room set up at the Holiday Villiage Resort. I have a one year old that I will have to get off by himself...if he sees the rest of us he will never go to sleep. Is the room actually divided? If not, are the bathrooms large enough to accomodate a playpen? Also, does the hotel provide a playpen or a crib?

Thank you so much to anyone that can shed some light!

I will send a PM with my contact info. If anyone else wants it, just send me a PM or email.

More info to follow tomorrow, I am doing a tour of the resort!
