Wardrobe at Discos

Strangely, when I did a search about what to wear to discos, it seemed that only men had asked this question in the past. What are women wearing?

When I was in Cuba, I was just a little too shiny in the discos (some sparkly things, etc.), but I know the DR's gonna be different. Can anyone give me a head's up (for discos in SD and the Samana area)?

In Santo Domingo, depends on where you go.
For the nicer places, I'd describe the dress as high end casual.

In Sosua area discos, the dress (and class?) is somewhat lower.
Samana, I would suspect is more similar to Sosua - though I haven't been to any out there.
