it's the airport code for Santiago International Airport.

0k thanks i was seeing it in alot of posts about the airports, i actually thought it was a law enforcement, or security of some sort.

POP-puerto plata
BC-boca chica
PUJ-punta cana
SFM-san francisco de macoris
SPM-san pedro de macoris

those are some abbreviations you will see in here. all of them are not airports..
