Default STI > Sto Dgo > LT > Cbrte

Hi everyone,

Thanks again to everyone who answered my question a while back about car rentals. We've decided to ditch that idea and hoof it around the island ourselves. After some research, I think I've put together an intinerary, but would like to make sure I'm not overlooking anything big like prices and times.

THANKS!

My only question is why go to Santo Domingo for one night?
Wouldn'tit make more $$ sense to go to Santiago and spend the night there???
Pleny of good options from the Gran Almirante or Marriott on down to the Colonial...(Colonial is super close to where you'd catch the bus to Las Terrenas.)

You save hours of travel time, get a good night's sleep, and are in Las Terrenas before noon the next day..

IN FACT, you could be in LAS TERRENAS the same day, duh! Just take a taxi from the airport to the bus stop for Las Terrenas/Sánchez/Samaná....Heck, you'd be in Las Terrenas by 11 a.m.

All this supposes that you do not have to go to Sto Dgo for something else...
