Deposit Boxes

Hi there,

I would like some info on having a safety deposit box,
normally i stay in a hotel with safety boxes and security.
Since I will be staying at a friends house i need to secure
my funds.
So my question is as a visitor to Rep.Dom is it possible to
register a safety deposit box in a bank like Banco Popular
or may be western union?

I believe there is a year long waiting list at all bank branches, Popular etc.

But I do remember reading about a security company that offers safety deposit boxes.

What part of the country are you in?

Try Banco BHD corner of Churchill and Roberto Pastoriza in Piantinni, Santo Domingo. They have boxes.
