How do I get to Samana from Sousa or Cabarete?

How do I get to Samana from Sousa (sic) or Cabarete?

Is this the question?

1. An early morning (purple) bus from next to the Police station in Sosua or opposite the Caribe Bus station in los Charamicos -- 3.5 to 4 hours and approx 200 RDP.

2. A taxi at about 3 hours and $110 to $120 USD -- try for less and let us know how it went.

3. A series of gua-guas (probably three) takes all day and will cost as much as or more than the little, purple bus,

4. Witch's broomstick or similar "beam me up Scottie" devices with which I have only a nodding acquaintance -- again please let us know your efforts and results

The bus passes through Sosua about 7am. Has Puerto Plata-Sosua sign on front. Flag it down. Leaves Samana at 2 pm and gets to Sosua about 5:30. 7 days a week. Bus may not always be purple. I saw a white bus the other day, don't know if this is as permanet change or something temporary. But whatever the color, it will have the sign on front
